Our Manifesto

Home Aide is designed to create noise and joy around food justice. Feeding our community is what we are called to and we love this work, so we believe we can make it fun for everyone. This project reveals areas in food justice that need sustainable, community-based solutions, and a community of doers who want to solve these problems.  We believe the community can and will take care of itself if given the avenues, and that it can be sustainable. The first step is our food raiser events, where we create art, share music, and celebrate our neighborhoods. We make this sustainable by uniting business owners and consumers who care for their neighbor, with those who are in need, by providing food homes to local businesses where consumers can drop off canned goods that we transport to local food pantries.

We are asking folks to support these ideas with their time, dollars, and/or, simply, cans. As the Home Aide drive ends on the 24th, we plan to continue to provide food support through food collection, food transportation,

Are you willing to buy a coffee, bring a can?
